It is a beautiful and ancient mountain city. It is also the first city in the world to be designated as a World Heritage Site. Goethe called Prague "the most beautiful city in Europe."
Thousands of old buildings from the Middle Ages are well preserved here. Gothic and Baroque spires can be seen everywhere in every street and alley in the old town, so Prague is called the "City of Hundred Towers".
In addition to the historic churches, castles and streets, numerous opera houses, concert halls, museums and cinemas make the city even more intellectual and elegant.
