Rudolf Broersma - Photo Guide

My full name is Rudolf Broersma, and I was born in Amsterdam, in the Jordaan area. In the old days this was considered the working class area. It was full of big families in very small houses. This meant that people spent lots of time outdoors and as a result we became very social and open minded because of all the interaction with neighbours and passers by.

These characteristics remain present and it’s a factor which made me the person I am today.

15 years ago I became very passionate about photography and I see it as a witness in the journey of my life - to see the beauty that is all around us.

I now work as a professional photographer, and also with great joy as a Photographic tour guide. It is my pleasure to show you the beauty of Amsterdam, my city, my home.
